Frequently Asked Questions
How often do lessons happen?
Most students meet once or twice a week for 30 minutes. We adjust frequency to the student’s goals and timeline. Bar/Bat Mitzvah students often benefit from twice weekly as the ceremony approaches.
What do we need for Zoom lessons?
A computer or tablet with a camera and microphone, a stable internet connection, and a quiet spot. I’ll share materials digitally, so you don’t need to print or buy anything to start.
Can siblings learn together?
Yes. Siblings can share a session at a discounted rate, whether you’re preparing for a joint celebration or simply learning side by side.
Do you work with students with ADHD or different learning styles?
Absolutely. Short sessions, varied activities, and a patient pace are built into how I teach. We’ll shape lessons around what helps your child engage.
We’re not affiliated with a synagogue. Is that okay?
Yes, and you’re in good company. Families who are unaffiliated, interfaith, or new to Jewish learning are always welcome.
How does billing work?
You’ll be invoiced the day of each session and can pay through Venmo, Zelle, or PayPal. There are no long-term commitments.
What is your cancellation policy?
Please give at least 24 hours’ notice to reschedule so we can find a new time. Sessions canceled with less notice may be billed.
